    School Psychologist Seeking a School Psychologist with a Maine Department of Education Certification 093,to provide the District. This individual will consult with teachers, parents and administrators to find effective methods to treat learning and behavior problems; evaluate referred students through appropriate testing and diagnostic practices to determine eligibility for special services and programming; develop positive behavioral intervention plans; collaborate with staff and community agencies to provide services directly at improving psychological health; participate as a member of the IEP team meeting process; and use evidence-based research to develop and/or recommend effective interventions. In addition, the individual will consult with special and regular education staff on effectiveness of academic and behavioral interventions as well as student progress relative to curriculum and teaching methodology.

​        Administer and interpret a variety of evaluation instruments as well as write evaluation reports,
        Assist IEP teams in determining student eligibility for special education services,

          Possess knowledge of federal and state special education regulations.

Maine School Psychologist Certification (093) or Licensure as a Psychological Examiner
