Ethics: A Real World Approach to everyday problems

Speaker: Joan Struzziero

MASP November Workshop and Annual Meeting on Friday, November 18th at the Harraseeket Inn in Freeport. The Annual Meeting will immediately follow lunch.  November 2016 Workshop.pdf

Dr. Joan Struzziero is a nationally certified school psychologist who has taught in school psychology training programs for more years than she is willing to admit! She is currently a practitioner at Scituate High School in Scituate, MA, is on the faculty of UMASS-Boston’s Counseling and School Psychology department, and teaches a doctoral-level course in supervision at William James College. In her (non-existent) spare time, she is still searching for an interesting hobby in her ever-constant pursuit of avoiding all cooking and housework. She has served on ethics committees at the state and national levels for over twenty years. She has co-authored two books on supervision and has published and presented nationally and internationally. Her specific professional interests include supervision, crisis response, and ethics. Dr. Struzziero prides herself on helping to translate theory into practice in a way that is realistic and meaningful for practitioners, school systems, and students.
