This full-day workshop equips school psychologists with advanced tools and strategies for evaluating students with ADHD, Other Health Impairment (OHI), and Emotional Disability (ED). Moving beyond rating scales and checklists, the session emphasizes a collaborative, multi-method approach that integrates input from educators, families, and students. Participants will explore legal definitions,differentiation of ED from social maladjustment, and the use of real-world data to guide eligibility and intervention. Through case studies and practical tools, attendees will learn to create student-centered evaluations that inform meaningful support plans grounded in legal and best practice guidelines.

Presenter Bio: Dr. Ray W. Christner, Psy.D., NCSP, ABPP, is a licensed psychologist and a certified school psychologist, a nationally certified school psychologist, and a nationally registered health service psychologist. He has expertise in both clinical and school psychology. He holds a board certification in behavioral and cognitive psychology and has been named a Fellow of the Association of Behavior and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT). Operating an independent practice in Hanover, Pennsylvania, Dr. Christner provides psychological and neuropsychological assessments, psychotherapy, and consultative services to children and adults across various psychological, developmental, behavioral, and educational continuums.
